Ruby Reid was born on October 10, 1992, in Detroit, Michigan to Rodney and Latrice Reid. She has a younger brother, Damarcus. Ruby attended Lincoln Elementary School and St. Mary’s Academy in Detroit before transferring to the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Academy in New York City.
